Origen: Saale-Unstrut-Gebiet (Germany)

Ingredients for 4 portions:

300 g of cheese from Appenzell, 250 g of cooked pork sausage, 250 g of cooked ham, 1 big red pepper, 2 spicy cucumbers, 3 onions, 2 el. of vinegar (white-wine or aromatic), 4 el. of sunflower oil, 1 tl of mustard, 2 el of small chopped herbs, salt and pepper.

Method of preparation:

Slice cheese, cooked sausage and ham, pepper and aromatic cucumber into slits, cut onions into small rings and put altogether in a bowl. Prepare a marinade from the remaining ingredients and taste it with salt and pepper. Mix all the salad ingredients with the marinade and let it ripen. Eventually spice it again.

Preparation time: 20 minutes approx.
