Visiting Bullas is having a direct contact with the wine culture of Northwestern Murcia where vine growing and wine making date back from the Roman times. The Wine Route of Bullas offers also beautiful natural landscapes, an interesting heritage, craftwork and a rich gastronomy, all that linked within the wine context. .

SATURDAY

• Visit to the Wine Museum. It is located in an old wine cellar from the middle of the 19th century which belonged to the Melgares de Aguilar family. With a total surface of 1400 sq. metres the visitors can know everything related to the viticulture and oenology in a didactic and integral way.
• Sampling of wines from the D.O. Bullas with a brief presentation of their main characteristics
• Visit to a winery situated in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the D.O. Bullas, knowing its vineyards and facilities and sampling its best wines.
• Lunch in a restaurant belonging to the certified Wine Route.
• Route from La Rafa until the Pasico Ucenda, area, in the river Mula, and following its course, accompanied by the noise of the water and the smell of the banks dense vegetation we arrive to the really beautiful Salto del Usero waterfall, where people usually take a bath during Summer time. Near the river is the mount Castellar, a legendary place where there are still remains of an ancient medieval fortress.

SUNDAY

• Visit to the House Museum Don Pepe Marsilla, a travel back in time to know the living ways at the end of the 19th century.
• Visit to a family winery of the D.O. Bullas and its surrounding vineyards. Sampling of its wines.
• Lunch in a restaurant belonging to the certified Wine Route.
