On March 10th, April 21st and May 12th 2007 the
Wine Route of Bullas invites you to know the most interesting
places in a town linked with the wine culture. In fact, more than
200 traditional wine cellars from the 18th and 19th centuries are
partially or totally preserved.

- 10.30 h: The Route starts in the Wine Museum. It is
located in an old wine cellar from the middle of the 19th century
which belonged to the Melgares de Aguilar family. With a total
surface of 1400 sq. metres the visitors can know everything related
to the viticulture and oenology in a didactic and integral
way.
- 11.30 h. Sampling of wines from the D.O. Bullas with a brief
presentation of their main characteristics.
- 12.30 h. Visit to a winery situated in one of the most
beautiful landscapes of the D.O. Bullas, knowing its vineyards and
facilities and sampling its best wines.
- 14.30 h. Lunch in a restaurant belonging to the certified Wine
Route.
- 16.30 h. Return to the historical centre of Bullas to walk
through its streets and squares, craft shops, etc., visiting La
Balsa Wine Cellar, an old tradicional and restored one, wine shop
and see of the Regulating Council of the Origin Denomination area
“Bullas”, where all the local wines can be acquired.
Visit to the House Museum Don Pepe Marsilla, a travel back in time
to know the living ways at the end of the 19th century.
