We meet at our canoe station in Naumburg. After a short briefing on canoeing your accompanied tour via Schoenburg to Leißlingen starts. Arriving in Leißlingen a delicious meal of different kinds of grilled meat is waiting for you. Full of energy you continue your trip by bicycle to the famous sun observatory of Goseck which was constructed 6000 years ago. Furthermore we have the possibility to visit the Castle Goseck. The fortress was firstly mentioned 1100 years ago and is affected by an eventful history. The last stage of the tour leads you back to Naumburg. In Germany’s oldest wine and sparkling wine factory you have the opportunity to participate in a wine and sparkling wine tasting including typical food of the region. This is the final station of the tour. Please enjoy the evening in a very special ambience.

The walking-tour goes through the natural and cultural landscape of the northernmost wine-growing area of Europe. Historical sites and habitats are situated closely together. Stations of the tour are: Weißenfels, Goseck including a tour of the sun observatory, Naumburg, Freyburg, Bad Kösen, Auerstedt, Eckartsberga, Marienthal, Bad Bibra, habitat of the “sky disc” near Nebra and Querfurt.

“Walking means living...” How could someone better get to know the nature and landscape of the Saale-Unstrut-region than by rambling along the beautiful and ample trails? There are a lot of locations where important historical events, like the migration of peoples and the war of liberation, took place.
You walk from Weißenfels to Naumburg/Freyburg continuing via Bad Kösen to the manor of Kreipitzsch and via Auerstedt to the estate castle Marienthal.

  • After the arrival the trip starts with a  walk trough the nice countryside called "Blütengrund"  with a guided tour at a book of stone  ("Steinernes Festbuch" with 12 reliefs in a vineyard) and a visit of the "Max-Klinger-Vineyard"
  • Then a winegrower invites you to a traditional meal and 4 different sorts of vine can be tasted.
  • The journey goes on with a trip on the route "Saale-Unstrut-Weinstraße" by getting information about the regional wine-growing.
  • At last the bus stops at a compfortable restaurant of our region where you get coffee an cake.
