Cuvee Prestige Red Storia

Grape variety/ies: 60% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

Vinification: Red

Description: Cuvee Prestige Red Storia marvellously combines the varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to form a harmonious wine. Despite its venerable age we can admire its freshness. At the same time, the wine's velvety flavour emphasizes the power of tradition. Vintage: 2003 Variety: 60 % cabernet sauvignon, 40 % merlot Wine parameters: Alcohol: 12,1 %vol. Sugar content: 2,3 g/l of residual sugar. Total acidity: 4,7 g/l. Serving temperature: 16 – 18 ºC. Marriage of food and wine: Beef and venison, matured cheeses. Grape growing and winemaking details: Vineyard: Terraced vineyards. Harvest: By hand, last week of September. Maceration: Ten days at temperatures below 28 ºC. Fermentation: At the same time as maceration. Partially malolactic fermentation. Maturation: In large barrels made of Slavonian oak, 30% in barriques. Colour: Intense red with shades of ruby. Nose: Reminiscent of small fruits and smoke with touches of floral scents. Palate: Full, tannins match perfectly with notes of wood. Harmony: Smooth and velvety wine with pronounced sweet tannins that give it a full character. Ageing potential: Up to 10 years.

Krapež Merlot 2003

Vinification: Red, dry

Year: 2003

Alcohol: 13,5% Vol.

Description: - Colour: Crystal ruby red and thick. - Nose: intensive, very profound and rich. Smell of ripe and dry red fruits and soft fruits is recognizable (too ripe sour cherry, blackberry, blueberry, dry plums and marmalade). And for grand finale a pleasant smell of leather. - Dry, warm and soft, - Rather fresh, tannic and tasty, - Balanced, intensive elegant and lasting , - Harmonious, strong and ripe. Harmony of wine and food: venison.

Nafa Sauvignon 2007

Description: Combination with: White meat, Poultry, Pastas, Rissoto with vegetables, Aperitif. Serving temperature: 10-12º C

Petrič Pinela 2006

Grape variety/ies: 100 % Pinela

Vinification: White, semi-dry

Year: 2006

Alcohol: 11,80% Vol.

Description: Nose: Recognizable taste accompanies smell of flowers and fruit character. Harmony of wine and food: warm starters, vegetable dishes (plates) and always when pastas or white meat are served with a bit sweeter cheese or cream sauce.

Zelen Lanthieri

Grape variety/ies: Zelen

Vinification: White, semi-dry

Year: 2006

Alcohol: 12% Vol.

Description: Zelen is an autochthonous grape variety from the Upper Vipava Valley. The wine Zelen Lanthieri is endowed with a gentle aroma reminiscent of flowers and fruits complemented by Mediterranean fragrant herbs (lavender, rosemary). The wine's body is full and noble with a perfect combination of freshness and tenderness. Colour: Straw yellow colour with noticeable green undertones. Nose: Aromatic variety with a delicate smell that fills the room. Floral and fruity notes. Palate: Fruity tones: green apple, pear, lemon, dry white flowers, fresh almonds, sweet spices. Harmony: The fullness of flavour is an evidence of the rich extract content that lingers in the mouth and releases beautifully balanced sweet-sour flavours. Ageing potential: Up to 5 years. Serving temperature: 12 – 14 ºC. Marriage of food and wine: Blue fish, tuna, eel, carp, sheatfish, turkey, pork, veal.
